Evidence Grading Explained
Every claim on this wiki is labelled by evidence strength so you can weigh it. The four tiers:
| Tier | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Approved | Regulator-approved for an indication (e.g. semaglutide for weight management). |
| Clinical | Human trials exist — we note size and quality (a 12-person study is not a 1,200-person one). |
| Preclinical | Animal or in-vitro data only. Most “healing” peptide claims sit here. |
| Anecdotal | Community-reported; no controlled data. |
We also flag when findings trace to a single research group or lack independent replication. This scheme is applied in each peptide page’s Evidence by Outcome table and as inline tags.
